Could some kind gent look inside his fusebox and read the part no. on R12. It is the flat black relay about an inch square on the top left corner as you look in. Mine is
964.610.183.05 USA/Japan I need to order a ROW replacement to get the rear fogs lights to work for an MOT. and registration here.
Thanks

I can't look at my car at the moment since it's in for a service but just to add some confusion here, PET have four variations for this part - they call it a "Bridge-Adapter". The part numbers are all the same apart from the last 2 digits (as you might expect). The -05 part is, as you say, for the M193 option (Japan), and it looks like the -02 part is the standard ROW part. There is a -03 part (option M487 - for use with side marker lights) and a -76 part specifically for the RS although that seems to fit in R14 rather than R12. There is also an -01 part listed but I'm guessing that is superceded by the -02 part. Interestingly there isn't a -04 part listed in my version of PET so I don't know where that comes into the game!!!

Sorry if this doesn't help!!!

Regards

Dave

Thanks, I have the wiring diagram in front of me and this part is exactly the same for ROW, M487 Norway. M553 is USA and it has two diodes in the bridge while M193 Japan has only one link in the bridge. The car I have bought in Japan is an American spec hence no rear fog lights. I have dismantled the little bridge but unfortunately there aren't enough pins to swap over. There is also only one fog light switch but this will do as the fog lights have been replaced by the ducts.
