924/944 centre caps

New member
Apologies if this question has been asked before, but I can't find a direct answer.

I've recently bought a set of 16" teledials, but they unfortunately didn't come with any center caps.

I don't particularly want to buy cheap fleabay tat, so I'm trying to track down a set of genuine period metal items.

Can anyone confirm these ones off a 924 turbo are the same items found later on a 944?

Many thanks for the offer Cater_Racer, very much appreciated! But ideally I am looking for a genuine metal set from that period of Porsche alloy.

The ones advertised on eBay do look correct, but I just wanted confirmation before going ahead with the purchase.

My Teledial centre caps look like those in the link but I cant tell you if mine are original or not.
£60 for some manky looking centre caps, blimey that's a bit strong.

£60 is strong, but there the correct due the dud lot polishing them for the wheels. Correct caps will be same size cap as any porsche wheel 76mm. What you will want is dome not concave so it matches the wheel shape round the bolt holes. You can get metal cap with large coloured crest. However to be really peroid your want the porsche script in gold and fatter horse

If you're patient, you could do i as did and repaint the centres with model paint. I got the local wheel refurbers to painted the silver part and masked the central shield off first.

Sorry Dunners, just worked it out you're looking for teledials, mine are off D90's...

Sorry

If theyre still available Gerry, and if it would be acceptable, then I would be grateful of them. I need a set for my new D90s.

Those are correct for 16 " teledials, need a repaint and good as new, bloody pricey though !

Hi, I sold my 924t wheels with the caps in tact(about £50 I think !) so can't be 100percent sure they will fit 16in tele dials but they look the same as another set I still have from my old 924slemans which obviously had 15in tell dials. If you buy those £60 ones although they look rough they'll come up great with a sand, coat of primer and couple of top coats in colour of your choice, just as I did with mine & if I can do it anyone can
Cheers
