Just for you [all 924 owners 1976-1988]

There is a Post Classic meeting (formally known as middle year cars) at the Porsche Driving Experience centre Silverstone on Sunday 22nd May.

This event is for cars built from 1974 to 1996 (up to and including 993) and follows the format of last years 'Boxster & Beyond' event.

More information to follow and in the next Porsche Post.
There will be an oportunity to drive sections of the facility on a first come first served basis.

More information to follow.

Thanks Geoff, I've retitled your post to draw people in.

For all those who can get your 924 to Silverstone PDE this will be a good excuse for a 924 gathering even if we don't go around the track we can still have a good chin-wag in the restaurant.

Who is up for it? [:)]

I am considering bringing my 924 Turbo to this event. I had taken the weekend off for another car show but I am really tempted with this one.

I'd like to go but I'm trying to fit in as much as I can without my pregnant wife giving me a kicking

15th May - 924 owners club bash at Coventry Motor Museum
20th May - Porsche Night, Poole Quay
21/22 May - Castle Retro, Caldicot Castle + (22nd PEC Silverstone)
30th May - Track Day, Llandow
5th June - Porsche Show, Hatton Park
11th June - Classic and Sports Car day, Castle Combe

As you can see a busy period for car trips. The 'breadknife' thinks I'm taking the mickey!!

Traditionally, ryhming slang for the wife is the trouble and strife, which shortens, appropriately to "the trouble"

I have decided to set the alarm early and make my way to Silverstone on 22 May, a nice 180 mile run from North Yorkshire. I look for to seeing you there and hope we have a good turn out from the 924 Register.
