I thought I had lost these pics but lo and behold. This was last July at Silverstone in Bonhams tent. I dont think the car was sold. If I had the cash no question I would have bought it but at least I have the snaps of it [;)]

What a car..... ... ! Does anyone know what happened to it or whether it was sold after the auction...? The smell of want [:D]

Derek Bell was presented with a 924 Carrera GTS when he raced a similar car at LeMans. He still ownes it. Registration number 483BEL.
An unusual feature of DB's car and those presented to other team drivers is that they have the same interior as the Carrera GT (no roll cage or racing seats.

Our Carrera GT Register Secretary, Riccy Ceasar owns one of these special cars.

Ricky Ceasar used to own quite a collection of CGTs along with a very smart light blue impact bumber 2.7RS too...

The CGT is the only four cylinder car that I have wanted and not owned (apart from a 968RS and there are only four real ones so Im not holding my breath). I tried to buy the Earl of March's 937 in 1999, but the dealer/shark who owned it kept putting the price up....

Does it still have a starting problem? Youd think that hed know someone who could get to the bottom of it, wouldnt you? [;)]

I spoke to Ricky at a photo shoot recently, he said only three road going GTS were built. Bell has one and so IWHT Ricky can investigste the provenance of his GTS now as he can now confirm it as the other car with the CGT interior

This is all very interesting.... Would this be one of the cars without the rollcage...? It seems to have the race seats and harnesses.... Is this being sold by a member of PCGB or does anybody know what this cars story is.....?

The one on PH appears to belong to Michael Kerry.

He is a discerning collector and has a number of exceptional, concours quality, low mileage Porsches.

So, I've no doubt, it will be one of the best.
