Don't want to upset purists, but would like to explore alternative to carrera gt rep and 944. Can anyone recommend a supplier of really good affordable fibreglass panels? Am thinking bonnet, front wings, front spoiler and rear bumper. I am going to see an 88 924S on Friday and am keen to get something really soon before summer is over. I am clearly very confused, but I would like to thank all who have contributed so far. If the carrera rep needs major surgery, then might be better to wait until winter or next year to get it done.

Pro 9 have all the kit to order for around £575. Will require a heap of extra fettling to get it to look/fit right

Haven't done it myself but I believe a reasonable amount of GRP and filler required to get a good show car fit. For racing/track its less of an issue

Yes, I think that youll need a Dremel... Id buy the rear arches off Marek / Tielecar, as his fit and finish is better (although his 951 front wings still need a lot of time and effort to look presentable on a smart road car).
I dont see any reason not to fit the parts to a 924S. If you lighten it enough then itll certainly be quick enough. My lightened series one 944 fooled a G-Tech Pro into quoting 182bhp at the rear wheels; when I entered the manafacturer's kerb weight + 100kgs for me!
