924 fuel tank leak

Photo shows a 924 (1980?) with a fuel tank leak. I assume (from looking at the PET) that this is the fuel pump area.
Is this likely to be the seal and can the pump be removed and the seal replaced with the tank in situ?
Is a fuel tank change a diff out job as in a 944?

There is a booster pump in the tank, and that large nut is part of the pump flange. It will unscrew and if the seal is leaking it can be replaced with the tank in situ. Yes, I'm afraid the in the absence of any posts to the contrary, the transaxle has to be removed to get the tank out
