924 Help...Track Orientated Advice Please

Looking for a decent 924 as either a project or already done track day warrior any pointers advice greatly appreciated.................

I sometimes see ex 924 Championship cars for sale in Porsche Post or 911 & Porsche World but I would think that most of these would be OTT for road use.
Depends I suppose what you need - maybe one of these cars could be 'civilised' a bit to make them a OK for both road and track use.

Sounds like great fun [:)]

Yep - it seems cars I have seen for sale are either all or nothing - ie. road legal standard cars or those that have been modified and raced and therefore need trailering to track days. Nothing in between.

I considered buying an ex race car to use on tracks and keeping my existing 924 standard but decided not only would that cost more due to trailer requirement but I actually like the idea of learning "with" my car and modifying it as my skills (hopefully!) improve on track.
