924 on tour

I have recently come back from my longest journey in my 924 (Luton to The Lake District) at 550 miles all in over 2 days essentially.

What has been your greatest journey in your car, whether it be in terms of sheer mileage, scenery or events along the way.
 
Not mine but my wife and daughter.
PCGB. Manx Tour 2001. Over 1100 miles. No bother.
I went in our 911 and blew the engine. Cost £4,000.
There has to be a message in there somewhere.
 
Let's throw it open to any Porsche over any continuous journey in a day, week/s, or even months.
It would be good to hear some travel mis/adventures [:)]
