924 sills

Hi,

I am thinking of a 924 for a track day car, do the sills on the 24' suffer the same as the 44' as in rotting from inside out?

Many thanks

No. I have never seen a 924 with rusty sills. I have owned four and had no problem. This is why I have two 924S's rather than 944's. Geoff

don't mean to put a negative spin on this but mine has rotten sills, both of them have had to be cut out and in the summer I will be welding in new ones, so yes they do. I guess not as bad as a 944 but you would need to check any car before buying.
