924 Turbo model car 1:24 Burago

[:D][:D][:D][:D] thanks I needed a good larf !

Stepson (39 going on 12) went overdrawn at bank last week so Wifey sent £150 cash recorded delivery which has gone missing in post (no compensation) [:(] Wifey away for a few days so had to send another wad of cash special delivery this afternoon.

Do you remember that advert with the kid walking through the park with money pouring from his trousers ? well thats our Stepson

924 CGT, I have the red one with big Porsche logo from '84 on the bonnet from '84, just had a quick look for it but not there :(

Picked one of these up for pennies in GP white a while ago -must get around to a respray one day!

Was having a browse around the stands at teh Classic Car show last weekend and was asked by one stallholder what I was looking for, when I told him 944, he then produced a little one in a blister pack in shiny silver for £1 (which I bought) and then proceeded to show me a special Corgi AA gift pack which contained an AA van, a Patrolman and a Red 944 Turbo...my TVR-owning mate thought this was highly amusing! (And probably a vision of things to come...)

944 models are quite rare, you see plenty Turbo's but hardly any 2.7's [;)] however I did find one recently, 1:43 scale Solido HI-FI 43 No 1502. Because it had the wrong wheels I got a 928GT to donate the Design 90 alloys [:D] it also needs some painting to make it look more like the real thing.

I am breaking the 928 for spares if anybody wants any bits, bare in mind it's 1:43 [;)]

Please post away!
Not sure yours will do that well at the club model concours without its box, but us 944 owners rarely worry about such things [:D]
