hello, i've just snapped the o/s driveshaft on my 86 924s does anyone know whether one from a 944 will fit, i suspect a round dial car is a yes but an oval dash car is a no, any ideas? also are both shafts identical? danke schon.

Having just looked at PET the reverse is true. Round dash 944s up to '85 use a part number beginning with 447 which is the same as 924 lux and turbo. The manual 924 s uses 944 332 038 01 both sides, the same as 944 after 1985 which will be all oval dash. The auto uses 944.....02 Left and 944.... 03 right. Out of interest the 944 turbo uses a pair of 944.....02s

No probs. I have just bought a brand new genuine porsche radiator for the 924 turbo on ebay for £102, retail from Porscheshop at £329 inc vat and a service kit for the k26 turbo for £16.01.
