Hi all

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if they have recently sold a 924s or what sort of money they realistically go for. It is a 1987 E reg and is the S model so 2.5 engine etc. it has 98000 miles is in guards red has a s/s exhaust quite a good s/h including a head gasket and belts done back in feb 07, the seat is ripped but otherwise in excellent condition. The reason I ask is that I have a 944 turbo and am about to put it up for sale, a frien of a friend has this 924s and has offered me it as a p/x but to get the sort of money I want I would need to get around £2k for it if I sell on.
So the question is do you think i could get this if I sell on or am gonna lose money. I have looked in the usual places and have seen 924s advertised from around £1200 - £3000 but not seen many sold.
Any help much appreciated

Simon

I bought a 924S (E,88) in Sept For 2k...Which I beleive is a realistic selling Price, However Mine hadn't had the Belts Done...So there is your Bargining tool!
But It was in Very good condition with lots of history!
If One starts wandering into 944 Prices I'm sure most would buy a 944 than 924S..
at least you'll have decent car (my opinion) to run around in till it sells..
