Hi all,

Just stumbled across the forum and am pleased the find people who are still enthusiastic about the 924!

I've just picked up a Reds 924S auto on a D plate with approx 110k with full service history, mostly from Camtune.

It needs a little work and some tidying which I am planning on doing myself, however, I notice that the Haynes manual does not cover the 924S and only up to C reg.

Can anyone tell me if it still covers the majority of components I am likely to come up against?

Thanks

A lot of the running gear is identical to the early model 944 and covered, after a fashion, by that manual.
If you email me direct I'll send you the links from home for several other useful sites and other items.
I get back home late afternoon.
Cheers

I've got the 924 and the 944 manuals and sort of swap to and fro between them, works most of the time but isn't all that convenient.

I use both the 924 & 944 Haynes and standard reference, only problem is that cover the US models in more detail, especially the softback 944 manual I have!!! Ok for basic stuff but beyond that they're not up to much.

Russ - These are my two most useful links for technical information. Excellent archives.

Thanks for the info everyone.

Just picked up a Haynes hardback for the 924 upto 85' (edit). £2.99+p&p off of ebay. On the hunt for a 944 hard back now!
