I thought I'd post this here as the 924 forum is a bit quiet and there are a few 944 racers who come on here anyway
As some of you know from my other posts I bought this race car last year and raced it in 3 CSCC Modern Classics events in the second half of last year.

The car is fairly basic - bolt in roll cage and standard engine but was cheap to buy and run.
Over the winter I have made the following updates:
An Augment Automotive ECU and fast road cam has been fitted - power is up from 144 to 174 Bhp on the rollers they use (+20%) and torque is improved across the range, too.
-ve camber has been increased to -4 degrees at the front (from 2.5). The rear stays at about 3.
Increased front ARB (27mm up from 22, I think)
The car has been lowered slightly but there is still room for more
The battery and fire extinguisher have been moved to the rear spare wheel well
The gear change was very sloppy so its had a Jon Mitchell front and rear gear linkage kit fitted and is now very positive and precise
And there have been other minor checks and details improved.
I need to get it out on a track day or two ready fore the first race of the season which is on Sunday 13 April art Snetterton. 19 cars entered already. I can't wait. I will stillbe towards the back of the grid and wont win the class but it should be good fun and its a fairly cheap car to run for a race car.
