924S struts

Greetings, I'm looking to replace the front struts on my '86 924S.
I believe the struts from an early 944 would also fit or maybe even later cars
and perhaps those having the M747 option ?

I used Koni inserts in my original strut tubes along with new Koni rears. Very happy with the result (used as road car). Start on full soft, you can stiffen it up after as you see fit. If you are going to sport shock struts you should update the rears accordingly.

Thanks for your reply.
Although the old struts are not yet out, from previous experience on
a couple of early 944's its highly likely that the inserts will be sealed in.
My parts catalogue shows that only some 924S with the M747 option have
separate Koni inserts.
As I'm presently using the car on the road I don't to start disassembly
until replacements are to hand.
Regards
