924S/Turbo sill covers

My recently acquired 'S' has black rubber covers over sills. I am told that these were standard on Turbo, so I assume they were retrofitted to my car by previous owner. Can anyone tell me how they are attached to sills? Only fixings I can see are 2 pop rivets at each end where cover goes into wheel-arch return.

along the sills there are hooks welded to the sills on the turbo the sills click onto them and attach at each end using a cap .
