924S Workshop Manual

Hi All

As a new owner of an 86 924S I am keen to track down a Workshop manual and would prefer the factory one if possible. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the Factory workshop manual/maintenance info for said car?

I've seen ones on e-bay on CDrom at a reasonable price for the 944 and wondered if you can get them specifically for the 24S. Do any of you have a CD copy - if so are they any good?

Cheers

Andy

Having been in the same situation, go for the haynes 944 manual its pretty good and covers the engine running gear etc.

I've bought some of the ebay manuals that are supposed to cover 924S but they're not that great.

I believe if you speak to someone at the club shop and pop in they will let you photocopy some of the original factory workshop manals.

If you search my post you'll find one dealing with this.

Good luck

Thanks for the advice. I thought that may be the case hence asking the question.

I'll pick up a copy of the 944 manual and see how I go from there but if anyone else has any thoughts please let me know

Cheers

I have a Haynes 944 Manual - little used, which is no longer of use to me. Do you want to make me offer?

Hi Andy,

You can get a copy of the original factory manual from the excellent PelicanParts website (in the USA): http://www.pelicanparts.com/index.htm

I bought a copy of the 924s owners manual and it arrived in a couple of days in A1 condition. Their prices are keen too.

Hi Graham

Thanks for the offer. I have checked in with the current owner of the car and he is going to part with his Haynes 944 manual when I collect the car.

Hi Mark

Thanks for the tip off. I have had a look at Gmund Collection in the UK but hadn't tried Pelican parts so will take a look.

Cheers

Andy
