If only they hadn't stopped half way, and wedged the 928 lump in instead.
 
Looks like he's suceeded in getting more access round the engine than Porsche allow in the 2.0 litre RHD cars!! I wouldn't mind having that feature.
I'm impressed if he's really managed to keep the weight distribution equal, assuming he hasn't used the old Porsche trick of lead/cast iron in the bumpers.
I think I'll pass this time though . . .
 
It probably that bl**dy great gash in the bonnet under which the mega size airfilter for the 3.5 Rover engine sits. Did you all know that when Rover approached General Motors with a view to sourcing a V8, they never had anything suitable, but one enterprising executive spotted an a V8 under a tarpaulin, and was told that it was an abandoned project to produce a V8, for a boat I believe. After further discussion it was agreed that this engine ( extant with a Buick badge) would be produced forthe U.K. market.
 
i thought it would make a nice sprint car but remembered that you need to have a porsche engine in the car to comply with the regs so dont buy it for a race car.......
