928 seats

Do 928 seats fit our cars, with or without surgery to the runners etc.
And to confirm 964 seats will fit straight in but nothing newer?

964 seats are a straight swap, I believe 928 seats are physically too wide to fit (depends on the type I guess). IIRC 928 seats into a 944 has been done though (try a search on rennlist).

ETA the seat fitment changed with the 986/996 so 993 seats should fit too.

I've fitted a pair from a 1978 928 in mine and no problems whatsoever. The bolsters don't seem quite as supportive as the 944 seats but the base padding is a little thicker & they look great.

Simon.

Now with added Smart car as a daily hack for my sins!
