Pal of mine seriously looking at the moment for a post 1990 car with a view to buying later in the year.

Any pointers to where he should look, which specialists could give a car a once over and any info/guides he should read???

He is based in the Twickenham area and has already made contact with the guys at 928.com.

Hi MEL :)

After 90 means he will be looking for a 928GT or a 928GTS...

Rough cost 8k up to 20k

He can always email me...I can usually find something....tell him to try and avoid dealers...as an example MALTON CARS have a GTS....@ 27K lolllllll...they will have it for a LONG time at that price...

He can also try 928.org....there are usually a couple on there >>>> http://www.928.org.uk/

Anything else I can do to help , let me know :)

All the best Brett :)

I know of a 1986 928S2 in Guards Red, black leather interior, 70k miles, manual, no sunroof, in very good condition, one to keep! Let me know if it's of interest!

Afternoon all. I have a 928 GTS 1991 and am really struggling with the battery. If I don't drive it for a week it dies ! Any recommendations or suggestions please (apart from driving it more often:) )?

Thanks

TJ

Hi Navjeet,
I have 2 suggestions. Firstly, try keeping the car on a battery conditioner, such as CTek (which I do for all mine) and secondly don't hijack this thread!
