Hi Jase
Nice to see you back and great looking car! Meetings are now at the Gissons itself (last night in fact!) and the next is 13th Nov (Sunday) at lunchtime. Still time for you to book the Thurlstone Christmas do aswell![;)] Look forward to seeing the car in the metal.

Alright Jase - that was a coincidence I was looking at your profile last week and noticed that you hadn't been on here for ages - welcome back!

It looks like a pretty clean 944 in those photos - where did you find it?

Jase

Nice to hear from you again. Nice looking car. Great colour. Look forward to catching up soon.

Hi guys and thankyou for the warm welcome back [;)] i'm not too sure on the colour as I havent had chance to check yet but its a very deep almost burgandy metalic with a very light cream interior.

I'm pretty sure some of you may have seen this one before as its been local for at least 5 years. It comes with a massive history file and even though I have recently bought it making me somewhat bias, I have to say its the cleanest ive ever seen not that ive seen that many, heres a pic of the interior (sorry taken at night) as you can see the previous owner has spared no expence and it is literally like new inside and out. I need to get it valued as my insurance company are asking for a figure for the agreed valuation thingy, any ideas chaps? [:D]

I hope everyone is well and I cant wait to catch up with you all at the next meeting.

Hi Alex, yes long time buddy infact I think the last time we spoke was at the 2009 concours when my 928S got second behind the guy who brushed lines into his carpet with a nail brush [:D]

The story goes, over the past 2 years I have been building a concours Sierra Cosworth and recently had Performance Ford down to do a feature on it but when it was finished I lost interest and never drove it so a guy from a local garage who had taken the 944 in PX offered me several thousand and the little Porsche for it, initially I wasnt that interested but when I saw it I just fell in love with it and I did enjoy my time in the 928S so here we are [;)]

Hi Jason,

Congratulations on your new car. It looks an exceptionally clean model and a very nice colour suiting the lines. [:)]

As a PCGB member you can obtain an official valuation that should be acceptable to your insurers. Just log into the Club homepage and follow the links to bring up the relevant form.

Regards,

Clive.

I went to the Porsche Centre in Exeter on Friday and bought a rather nice T shirt and two new dealer number plates for my 944 S2, I was going to fit them this weekend but i'm waiting for my number plate surrounds to come so I dont need to drill them [;)] The obligatory Porsche keyring arrived yesterday but i'm still waiting for the clear front indicator lenses and amber bulbs [:D]

Hope everyone had a good weekend?

Jase
