930 Brakes

Hello all,
I have had a 1982 930 for about a year now and although I am quite happy with the car as a whole I am concerned about a clear tendency to block the front wheels under braking, even moderately.
I have checked/refurbished the front calipers, the discs are reasonable (usual wear but no warping) but the problem continues.
I wonder if any members have a similar problem or can help with any suggestions. Some people tell me that "this is the way it is" but I cannot believe this. I do have other (older) 911s and none of this.
Many thanks
Martin

I have a 1989 930 and I have never had any issues as you describe.
The brakes always seem pretty good to me.

I would be interested to know what this turns out to be, like you I don't accept that's the way it is.
Moreover - I have never read anything about this and I did a lot of research into all the pro's and cons before I bought mine.

Good luck.

Dean.

I have a 1988 930 and like Dean911 have never encountered problems with the brakes. Slightly scary at times but they have never locked up!

Is there a pressure valve somewhere that is not working!!
