I know that about 950 turbos ( 930 ) were imported into the uk but does anyone know what the breakdown
was between coupe, targa and cabriolet.
Thanking you in advance.
Pete

Almost unbelievably, the total UK RHD figure totals 930, including 58 targas and 78 cabriolets.
In addition there were supposedly 9 slant nose cabriolets and 3 slant nose targas.
These were the figures given by Porsche Cars GB to my predecessor in this role, Mike Connell.
However..... a year ago Porsche Cars GB came up with a higher figure for the 3.0 930s built between 1975 and 1977,
and in a recent publication by Andreas Gabriel, covering the air cooled 911 turbos, he tells me that there are no accurate production records prior to 1980!
Still, definitely confirms that the 930 cabriolet is a rare model.

58 Targa's and 78 Cabs is pretty low. I wonder how many are still on the road?
Coupe's were certainly the car of choice, i wonder why rarity does not play into the asking prices as it looks as if Coupe's are the common version!!!

Great info,
