can anyone tell me if the k26/k27 turbo is the same as a 3LDZ turbo. my 1988 car has a 3LDZ turbo and need to put new seals in it. i can get seals for a K26 and want know if they are the same internally

Garry,
My 930 also uses the 3LDZ and during a recent rebuild I found it very difficult to get seals alone. In the end I went to AET in Normanton, Yorkshire, who were very helpfull. In hind-sight the change to K27 may have been beneficial to power output but I decided to keep the car as close to original as was practical. Hope this helps.
Jim
