Hi Guy's

Anyone know how many LE's were manufactured ? have had read in many articles that 50 to 53 were manufactured and some state that there was only 15 right hand drives, one for each dealership! And one article stated that only 14 right drives exist today! ( was there 15 dealerships in 1989?)

I have owned mine for some 19 years and I am sure I have seen more than 15 different RHD LE's come to market!

Regards

kev

Hi Kev ,

My research has indicated 53 for the UK , 10 for a similar edition for France and 40 odd for Germany

Plus one cab in the UK and another in Germany i think

15 UK 930LEs was an incorrect figure published once in 911&PW - and corrected to 50 the following month. Unfortunately quite a number of interested parties seemingly missed out on the correction! If Jonny's research has come up with 53, I won't argue - he tends to be pretty thorough....... and Porsche had form at the time, having just built 53 UK RHD 3.2 Club Sports.

Thanks for the info guy's not quite so rare then! thought had had seen more than 14 come to market over the years!

Hi John yes I missed the correction as well.

regards

kev
