I've got a 1982 930 with about 80k on the clock, which has developed a misfire when the engine is under load (about 3.5k rpm onwards).
I've had it checked out and the problem seems to be a breakdown of the ignition leads.
Has anyone had a problem similar to this, and could anyone recommend what type of lead to it? Is it best to stick with the oe stuff, or get newer 'performance' leads which are advertised with such enthusiasm on the net!!
Would like to get the old girl back on the road for a couple of more blasts in what remains of this summer.
many thanks,
