Hi All,

I'm thinking of getting a new soft top fitted to our 968 cab and would be interested in any recommendations of who to use?
Ideally I would like to get the surrounding rubber seals replaced at same time to freshen up the whole hood to hope fully maintain a leak free interior?
Forest Fine may have been not sure of work quality?) a good bet had they not gone bust as they supplied both hoods & seals?

So if you've had a new hood supplied & fitted or know who does a good job on Porsche's please let me know?

Regards

Tony

It would be a good idea to put your aprox location on the post , so we can direct you to the correct places....
I had one fitted in Blackpool and would recomend him....
Cheers.

PS,
Do you know how much the seals are.?????????
The last time i wanted any they were fortunes...[][]

PS. If your after a new front main seal. The one that fits round the top of the windscreen, i have one spare....Shameless plug over....[;)][:D]

Hi Dave,

Thanks for reply, I'm just North of Diss in South Norfolk!

Was it you that I bought the wind deflector off a couple of years back?? If so still doing sterling service!

Found a thread on the 968UK web site recommending Southbound trimmers at Stockbridge may call in Tuesday & check them out not far off our route back from IoW it's our WOTY this weekend!

Not sure if I need the main front seal but I'll keep you in mind if I do - how much you asking for it?

Regards

Tony

I was at Southbond yesterday and they have just added a full price list to their web site southboundtrimmers.com

Go to price list and there is an embedded PDF

May arm you with some questions before you drop in.
