Hi folks-I have a 944S2 Cab and I am starting to have problems with the alarm key fob.My fob is black and is marked "PA 100"
Anyone any ideas where I can get a replacement?.

One of my fobs broke - the case - internals were good. Dealer told me my remote entry system was aftermarket so no help there. After much searching, I posted a picture and a request on Rennlist and got a used pair of fobs out of Australia. These fobs were from an after-market alarm/internet tracking company that seem to be active in Asia but its hard to tell. I switched my internals into those cases with minor mods for battery clearance and I'm good to go now. But - my electronics were working - only the case was bad.

Depending on what is failing - usually a micro-switch (the switches under the buttons) you can replace these yourself if you handy with a soldering iron - there is an article on Pelican website about repairing 911 fobs. Switches are cheap - will cost more in postage than the parts.

I did find some "white box" fobs while searching the internet that were appropriate radio frequency technology and they were capable of learning the existing system (much like a garage door opener). Not too expensive but quite modern looking and probably more buttons than you need - might be worth a look.
