944 Batmobile

So, we have a square dash Lux that someone had forced a Turbo engine into. I wonder which Turbo bits they thought were superfluous? Suspension, brakes, gearbox, cooling perhaps?

Then they cut the roof off. [] Didn't Porsche's subcontractor do all sorts of strange magic under the car to stiffen the chassis when they made cabs?

And the most bizarre thing is 17 people have bid on it.

Ignoring all of the above; I do like the Speedster cowl. But cutting off the windscreen of a perfectly good Cab to do it "properly" (?) would be sacrilege.

For sure John

That shell would be like a wobbly jelly[:'(]

It looks as if the full cowl and boot area are the one panel....I wonder if the top of the boot is in fibreglass....?. The add says that it weighs 1050kg.... What does a proper Cab weigh....? You do the maths [:D][:D]

It does look good though. Looks like a speed boat with wheels.

As a general concept I think that looks pretty fantastic [8D]

I could live without some of the silly bolt on bits (rear spoiler, bonnet ducts, rear diffuser etc) but the spyder look and even the Martini stripe really works for me. I imagine it is pretty wobbly though and it looks like a normal Lux engine to me
