944 Bodykits by Jacquemond - purists look away

I had an email from http://www.jacquemond.com/ in France today detailing some special offers on their bodykits for 944.

As ever I thought that I would share the pictures and see what others think. The 'special' price is currently $1599 or 1599 Euros for the GT2 kit shown on this cabriolet

I must admit I quite like the look of that [:-] and I guess that price is just for supply only.

The Novia kit shown here is $1699 or 1699 Euros and again I quite like it on this red coupe.

but this view from the rear of the wide, wide wings is totally awful [:'(] and you'd have to pay me a lot of money to stick that on my rear end.

There is a contact on the website http://www.jacquemond.com/ if anyone wants further details, and take a look at the Cayenne and 928 offerings. Again I like some of them and positively hate the rest.

That hatch is classic - immediately turn your practical coupe into a car with a boot as impractical as the cab's - trust me that IS impractical by comparison. You can't even set your shopping upright in the boot...

I'm sure he did one a few years ago that raised the line of the hatch back to nearly the same height as the roof. You would have been able to get a washing machine in there then [

] It looked a bit like the Reliant Scimitar rear end but much, much worse [:'(]

I wonder if that is the first time Reliant has been mentioned in the PCGB forum?

Of all of them I have to say that the Nova kit is bar far the best, and that is only because it looks most like they left the car as they found it. Well sort of. If you have a 944 why on earth would you want to make it look like a poor example of a Ferrari 250 GTO?
