944 Boot Carpet Foam/Rubber Moulding

Hi,
The backing (foam/rubber moulding) on my 944 Coupe boot/luggage carpet is in a sorry state in places and some completely missing over the battery and also the offiside wheelarch well side.
As a result the carpet is very limp and in those areas and will not retain its shape
Does anyone know what this product is, if it is available, where from and can it be easily shaped? to match the original

If it were me, I would find a good condition used carpet. Going rate is around £40 for a decent one..
 
Thanks for replies folks, I did look at trying to find a good 2nd hand one, but mines 'Linen' and havent come across any yet.
I have thought of using MDF and moulding to shape on the base, and that may be the way i go if I have no luck.

Stick a plastic cover, visqueen similar over your battery underneath the carpet to stop battery emissions eating away at the foam.
 
If I recall correctly, Southbound can supply a replacement but they only work to one standard and perfection has a price.
If your carpet is good, try Auto Trimmings at Stanmore Middx, 0208 204 8242, perhaps a 15mm thick sheet of firm density foam could be glued in place?
