944 cab for 356 - sad day!

I have had the most amazing year back in PCGB. The fun I have had from the 944 Cab has been fantastic but I have found some more cash and have agreed to buy a 1958 356.

I would have kept the 944 in a minute but I have no spare garage for it and I would never leave it outside.

I really want a good home for this so any PCGB members interested please view my advert on Pistonheads.

I will however always remain subscribed to the 944 forum - the best by far!

Many thanks,

Frazer

Thanks for your kind words on the 944 Forum, we all look forward to your posts for many years to come.

All the best on your sale though it is perhaps the wrong end of the year to be selling a Cab. It looks very nice in the pictures.

Enjoy your 356. I have confidence it will present many challenges but I doubt it will be as kind to your pocket as a 944.

I'm sorry that it has to go Frazer, but what a fantastic replacement [:)]

Feel free to stick some pics up when you get it and good luck with the sale

Thanks John and Paul for the replies.

After posting the advert this morning I am even questioning my decision as the cab is soooooo good!

Anyway the 356 is one stunning car - the price tells me this. I have very much got into the old porsche thing and the 944 with the roof down made me realise I wanted an older version but still the fun of cabriolet motoring.

I will post the pics when I get her - should be start of November. (Again not the best time but garage heating will be in place by this time!!).

Once again great forum.

Wow, don't think I've ever heard of anyone chopping in their 944 for a 356! Congratulations! I'm sure you'll have just as much fun, if not more with the 356! Pics please...
