Hi
Has anyone got the original 944 wind deflector and it catches on the hood when raising and lowering?
cheers

I have a genuine Porsche wind deflector on my 968 cab (same hood as a 944 cab I believe!), if I leave the top part of the deflector down and lower the hood I can't get the top part up as it hangs on the folded hood. However, with the top part up I can raise the hood from folded without problem, and then push the top part down as it reduces rear view when driving hood up.

Does the hood have any problem getting past the bottom (flat) part of the deflector. Mine catches the slightly pointed corner parts and it has ripped a hole in each corner of the hood.

Not had that problem with mine - and it's been well used in the 5 years I've had the car, mainly we only take her out when we can have the hood down but have also on occasions had her out hood up and in the rain, no tears in the hood and no water ingress (touches wood rapidly!!).
