Hi guys and girls I've just purchased a 944 s2 g plate cabriolet and on the first morning of ownership noticed a small amount of water on the drivers side rear footwell after a thunderstorm , does anyone know where to get or how much a new roof or a repair would cost??. I already own a 996 and have only bought the car as an investment and for a bit of fun, although I absolutely love the car and have always wanted one and I must say it is so nice to drive :)))

Hi, my S2 cab leaked when I bought it 2 years ago from the OSF corner quite badly. When the soft top is retracted look at the condition of the rubber seal on the top of the windscreen. Look to see if there is any rust marks on the rubber. If there is look at the black metal strip on the front edge of the hood. Mine had some surface rust. This makes it difficult for the seal to work. I cleaned and repainted the strip, which is only held with small screws, end of problem. Hope this applies to your issues.

Hi, There are also a couple of torsion cables one each side above the window in the roof lining, check when the roof is closed how taught the fabric is around the window edge
