Well I don't know too much about these, but need a Homologation Road Legal Car presume that's a 944 TurboS and an original 944 Cup Car for two displays this year within the Carrera Cup 20 Jahre National Displays .... please.

The Turbo Cup car wont be easy, as theyre principally French and German (although Ive seen a couple over here). An M758 1988 250 shouldnt be too difficult and one of the later Guards and black cars wont frighten the punters off... [:D]

Turbo S no problem, have you asked the Display Register? [8|] If not I've got several good ones who might be willing if you give me the dates and locations.

There was a Cup in the Club but it was sold a while ago and wasn't all that great anyway. It caused a lot of debate at Silverstone. I'd probably give up on that as it'll be a miracle if one comes forward.

Ooh, I didn't know it sold in the end Paul, any ideas of what it went for or to where (I'm guessing it went overseas).

I thought it'd sold, can't remember where I heard though. Wasn't it on here?

I think the last time we discussed it was in this thread and he was still asking a bit too much, so I assumed it hadn't sold, but it'd be great news if it'd gone to someone who understood what they had and used it accordingly.

If it didn't sell, then I think Des might be wise to try to track the owner down (he might want to promote it in the hope of making his fortune). The 944 Cup is so rare over here, although the 944 Cup Cup Cup models are comparatively very common, I'm sure a few dozen could be rustled up if needed :ROFLMAO:

It's not on the 944 Register database, which means he either never told the Club what car he had (unlikely, as he was prone to telling everyone who'd listen about it's 500 BHP chip ) or he left the Club and the car was taken off the database. Jon Mitchel might be worth asking, I think the owner lived nearby and used to go in sometimes to talk. For hours. [&:]

I have a black Turbo S and very nice it is too, now slightly tweaked !
It will embarress most 911's [:D]
