The Saab one that Fen mentioned is the exact same one that Porsche now use for the 944 if you'd feel more comfortable with a Porsche box (its the same part as a 993 Twin Turbo). You'll pay more though [] mine cost me £38 inc vat from Silverstone Porsche

I was also thinking along the lines of a non recurculating type.
My new steed is a 1990 Turbo in Panther black (I think) 17" cup alloys (Wish i'd kept the coloured crest centres from my lux). It has a Haward and Scott stainless exhaust and the black leather trim. High milage but loads of history(Mainly from Harteck)
Only mechanical problem i've had was a faulty throttle position sensor, oh- and trying to keep within the speed limits.
Quite a different animal to the Lux !!!
I was also thinking along the lines of a non recurculating type.
There is a line of thought that says you shouldn't use a non-recirculating dump valve, on a standard metered turbo, as you are exhausting air that has gone through the air flow meter. The air through the AFM will result in the appropriate amount of fuel delivered through the injectors. If you vent the air, you will allow more air to enter the system which will deliver more fuel than you would otherwise need.
On the other hand - You could argue that the air passed through the dump valve is out of synch with the metering anyway, having done a circuit of the inlet system, and venting it will allow more air (and hence fuel) in and avoid running lean as you re-boost.
If you have changed your AFM for a MAP metering system you can do what you like with the dumped air - and that "GUUOOOSHHHH" sound is very satisfying [8D]- Some may argue that it is the "Chav side of chav" but we just ignor such uneducated comments. []

Linen Porsche Logo cloth is the new Burberry - you heard it here first, trust me I'm a designer.
I wondered about under car neons but Beaky is so low you wouldn't see them.

Disregarding Chavness it still sounds like a bus IMO.

Correction - Most will argue this regardless of their educational status []

Don't know what type i'll go for now[]
It wasn't the noise aspect I wanted anyway...I was under the impression a non rec type offered a slight performance increase!!!
The one part of my Lux I did keep was the multi-amp ICE install, so I won't hear the noise anyway[] (sound machine Oct 2000- 911&porsche world)
