Just broke down sunday afternoon..
1.Ran out of petrol and engine cut out.
2.Put about 2 litres in and the car started and run about half a mile.
3.Engine cut out again and didn't start.
4.Put another 5 litres in - still no sign of starting.
5.Put on trailer and bring home.
6.Replace flattened battery and starts first time.

Any ideas? Besides DME relay which i've now replaced just in case..

That sounds like reasonable explaination..maybe the shaking on recovery truck fixed it..i'll soon find out..but the fact is that i will not take this car anywhere out of town for a while in case the problem occurs again..so no events for me for next 3 weeks or so - white car's off road for a year now..and i just managed to strip sapphire saturday..so prep has started and ready for booth in about 2-3 weeks..and just finished before Silverstone..i hope..[:D]..btw just found out from PP that i'd only get a one day pass..so i'll have to buy weekender anyway..

Looks as if you get a pass for every day you're on display, so don't buy yet!

Downside is it looks like one person per pass, so you'll have to pay for any passengers []

No problems with passengers i hope..i went with the Club 2 for one offer..one for my mrs and i hope that my mate from Porsche Club Estonia can use my ticket..
Could you possibly sign me up for all 3 days for display then?
