Replace the -at- in the eMail address with @ ... no spaces .... ETA: It may help if you let us know whereabouts the car is. London? Scotland? Somewhere in between?

You need to give a few more details if you want to sell it. Some people are going to want to know about mileage, service history, date of last belt change, brake condition, level of corrosion in sills etc.

timming belt fitted in 2005 not sure of millage all brakes fitted discs as well 2007 sills look good corrosion on fuel pipe head gasket 2006 new steering shaft 2006 every mot since 1990 milage 102601 6months tax mot till jan approx 25,000 miles when belt was changed, and other work.

That's exactly what I thought with my S.2......5 years and only 25k miles since the belts, water pump, and all tensioners and rollers. Last week had the cam chain and slipper pads done as were original at 147k miles now, and also had all belts inc PAS and alternator plus all tensioners and rollers again ! Car now runs quieter than I can remember in the 6 years I've owned it and should be good for another 4 years in that dept. Total cost with oil change and powder coating cam cover - beer money left out of 1200 quid [:(]

i realy dont want to sell but 3 kids its not big enough what price should i be looking for its a great car!! thanks for any help like i said i would rather it go to a good home on here were it can be looked after, than some chave of ebay, cheers matt

its only done about 25,00 since its been done according to mots so plenty of life left!
It's age-related, not just mileage. If it's over 4 years they can, and sometimes do, fail. That 4 year recommendation is an absolute maximum, if there's anything like a small oil seepage contaminating the belt it's going to be weakened. Personally, and based on the stories I get through the Register, I really wouldn't run a 944 if the belt was over 4 years old. Sorry to be telling you something you don't need to hear, but it would be irresponsible of me not to mention it.

no worries i will get in contact with the old owner and ask him!thanks for the replys i will be putting it on ebay cheers matt, will have a roof rack for sale if anyones intresteadand sunroof bag?

If its a genuine roof rack then itll sell very easily; but doesnt the sunroof bag belong with the car?

no i bought these seperate as thought i would be keeping the car,so not original match!just trying to get some of my money back as dont think i will on the car now[:(]
