944 front end / rolling shell wanted ?

I'm normally a bit of a lurker on this part of the forum, usually reading about the mods some of you guys are doing to road cars. Time for a post now........

My 944 turbo race car is ever so slightly bent after getting tapped on the exit of Gerrards at Mallory Park yesterday. [:(], at something like 110mph. The car hit the barriers, spun round & landed on its roof.

The front chassis legs have both moved while the car was performing handstands, & the roof has a bit of a kink in it. I'm awaiting news from the bodyshop, but want to try & locate either a rolling shell or a 944 front end as the car needs to be ready in another 3 weeks.

Anyone got any leads ? - I'll also be needing new a new splitter, front PU, bonnet, wings, rear adjustable bridge spoiler, tailgate

PS - colour unimportant [:D]

give Kevin a ring at EMC... 01213282225 i know he has an S2 shell in teh workshop at the mo...

Sorry to hear that David [:(] I'm glad you're ok.

I'm presuming you want GRP bonnet, wings, spoiler and splitter as it's your race car. I would speak to Simon at Essential Styling, he was at Eyndham this weekend with his own very tatty track car that was made from his rejected pieces of GRP

There's some piccies here, for those of you who like that sort of thing.

First signs are encouraging - it seems like a new front end will do the job......... but the intercooler & radiator are both knackered. The eagle eyed amongst you may spot that they are not exactly standard.

Bad news I'm aftraid.............. though repairable, the advice was to reshell the car.

Another Silver Rose bites the dust

Ouch - that should resurrect another thread 'where are all the silver roses?'

Good luck in the search for a sunroofless shell
