944 front seat fabric torn

I've got some tears in the fabric centre sections of my seats, the leather round the rest of the seats is fine. I have the half leather type seats with the black (now dark brown) pin striped material centre. You'll know the ones it's the fairly common style. Is my only sensible option to get the center section trimmed in a different material? Was thinking black.

Cheers,

Dunc.

Tried Southbound trimmers? They hold extensive stocks of Porsche fabrics.

Thanks guys, found a great post here:-

But the phone no. doesn't work any more and a web search just brings up Gucci handbags [:(]

Given this I think werk924 may be the way to go, anyone actually used them?

Cheers,

Dunc.

I've only heard good things about them. The same with Southbound, so I imagine they are comparable on service.

Buy the fabric from W924 or similar for £60-80 a linear metre and then get a trimmer who is experienced with earlier type Porsche seats to do the work. All trimmers think that they can do the work, but the number of shoddy re-trims you see suggests otherwise.

They aren't leather either, so you may need to have the vinyl replaced along with some of the outside edge of the squab.
