944 front wings

Bl**dy 'ell ELV 73. 944 wings fit. Lots (relatively) of people fit them and the 924 carrera rear spats to make a carrera lookalike. You will need the 944 bumper handy as there a sometimes fitment issues using the 24 bumper. You are not going to source the rear bits easily. You wouldn't run a 24 with 944 wings on the front only. Would you?

Sitting on an oil rig of the coast of Nigeria for a month! not much else to do when i'm not working apart from think up questions to post.[:D] No wasnt thinking of running the 24 with 44 wings on the front only, would look mighty silly with a big flared front and a little skinny rear! But have seen a few GRP mouldings advertised for the rear arches on the net. Question was more out of curiosity than anything else. Just in case I decided to do some work to the body later on. [:D]

Do you have workshop facilites on board? Serious question. To run the head and get the best out of the cam you will need some hardened shims of about 0.015" (0.4 mm) to go under the buckets. they would need to be 8.0 mm o/d. If we hadn't dumped our surface grinder I would've made some at work. Bert Gear's website doesn't list shims but to be fair, I haven't rung him.

Plenty of workshop facilities but having a real problem with getting materials out here at the mo (Nigerian customs!!) Went and asked one of the guys in the machine shop who promptly laughed at me! telling me they were struggling to get enough materials to do the jobs on board so making up shims for a car was pretty much out of the question[:(]
