944 heater

Hi, I'm new here so hope I find the reply if I get one. My heater on the 944 Lux 1986 just gets hotter and hotter as the engine gets hot even though it's not turned on. The engine temp. is normal and the engine doesn't overheat it's just that I can't turn the heat off. Is this anything to do with the thermastat net to the water pump ?
Any help please before I cook. Thanks in anticipation. Keith.
 
Hello, I think its down to a little white clip behind the dashboard that holds all the heater controls togather. I am sure someone will be along soon with the part number [8|]
