944 in sky atlantics " the tunnel"

i noticed in sky atlantics remake of the danish tv thriller "the bridge",,now called "the tunnel,,the french detective is driving an older model 944,,,baltic blue,,black leather with cloth insert sport seats,,
a few scenes with her and the english detective in the car,,couldnt make out the wheels though,,in the original ,the swedish female officer drove a 964,,,jasonp

It's not a 964, but some dispute whether it was a 911 or 912. Good thread here:

Have to say, I didn't spot it was a Porsche she was driving until episode 3.....[]

Shame The Tunnel is only on Sky, as I can't watch it. Is the remake as bad as the American version of The Killing?

paul,,its not shaping up too bad,,stephen dillane is a strong lead for the english detective and its produced by the same people who produce "downton abby",,so they have spent a few quid on it,,its by no means a cheapie copy but for me,,its not as good as the danish/swedish original,,so imagine you like wallinger [swedish version] etc paul? i really enjoy the scandie thrillers,,,,

Not seen the original, but the GB remake is clearly a top-notch and stylish production, as evidenced by the thoughtful improvements to Ms Poésy's wheels.
