944 Buying Guide in today's 'Driving' supplement, comes across as a reccomended purchase, although they say the oval dash was introduced in 1995 [&:] - price guide for 60k H-reg S2 Reg £5995 dealer, £4995 private. If anyone has one of these 60k S2's for 5 grand (would be pre-oval dash I assume [8|]) please let me know.

Plus you're going to have a bit of trouble finding a '95, unless they did a limited edition Turbo or something for Italy that we don't know about [;)]
 
I haven't read it yet but I guess you mean Jason Dawe's column. The bloke's an idiot and I refuse to read a word he writes since I saw him on Top Gear. I was surprised he lasted the whole series before they fired him from it.
 
And, apparently, the 220 turbo increased in power to 250 bhp when Porsche upped the capacity from 2.5 to 2.7 ltrs. [:mad:].
