944 Interior seat cloth question

Hi, I am about to buy my first 944, a 1990 S2 and have a few questons. Does anyone know the name of this fabric? It looks similar to plaid studio but not quite burgandy or grey but somewhere in-between? Also should this same fabric be on the door cards? And anywhere else?

Also I want to get the D90 wheels painted 2 tone, bright silver to the outer rims and gunmetal or dark/grey back to the centres. Has anyone done this and been successful?

Thanks.

I'm sure that someone here should be able to tell you what the fabric is called, if not contact Southbound Trimmers, they will identify it for you.

Regarding your wheel question, i have seen this on some cars, don'e it myself although not on a Porsche, there's nothing difficult about it. Like any painting exercise, preparation is important and for this particular job a good masking tape that doesn't bleed. Also depending on paint used, give plenty of time for the base colour to harden before masking up and spraying the other colour, I clear coat over both will finish it nicely.

cheers

Nice idea about the wheels, I've thought about doing something similar.

Anyone have any photos of wheels that have been done in this way?

Thanks everyone for your replies. What about the door cards, should they match? I have found examles with and without matching door cards? Cheers,
