944 keeps blowing fuse 9

hi all my friends 944 1984 model pre oval dash keeps blowing fuse 9 , what is the correct amp rate for this fuse , we presume it to be blue 15 amp as thats what it had in , it keeps blowing as soon as ignition is switched on , and we are having great trouble sourcing the problem ,, anyone else had this problem and cured it we would love to hear from you
