sorry mate i dont car was non sunroof
regards mick

I'm not sure how much of a job it is to change a roof, but anyone scrapping a car without a sunroof should consider chopping the roof off.

pm sent regarding parts Ashonen and igone the bit asking where you are just noticed were you are so yep will post to you
regards mick
ps yes have heater fan switch somewhere will need to find it first but deffinatly got one

Hey storm, you don't happen to have the centre console lid do you ? The hinge has split on mine so the lid is now no longer connected to the compartment lol.

Also, what's the condition of the lower steering joint ? Mine has a little bit of play in one of the joints so need to find a replacement at some point, or buy a new one (probably better to be honest)

Cheers,

Mike

Without wishing to stick my nose in where it shouldn't be, the hinge is surprisingly cheap from an OPC. Like under a tenner I think.

£9 inc postage with Club discount last time I asked, at the time they were over £30 on e-bay.....[8|]

sorry dont have the hinge bit ,,, the lower steering joint is perfect for a used one and no play
regards mick

Really guys ? That's good news. What do they sell you, a repair hinge or the whole tray insert / inside of the lid etc. ?

Exeter OPC with my membership number I assume ?

Thanks,

Mike

Just say you're from "the forum" and you'll get as good (I suspect better in fact) discount than a PCGB membership card gets.

They sell you the tray itself with the frame that all the little screws go through to hold the lid on. It feels really flimsy and it will be misshapen when it arrives but once the lid is attached it is fine.

Wot Fen said!

Just make sure you order one for a RHD car. Shouldn't be a problem with Exeter but I've heard of it happening before....[&:]

I replaced mine with the 968 type, after breaking two hinges leaning over to the passenger side. As I'd not leave anything in the tray, even out of sight under a hinged lid, it doesn't matter to me.
