944 Lux for sale - how much ?

Colleague of mine is off to Boston for a few years and is looking for a home for is 944 Lux.

Based in Edinburgh details are:
1986
Standard Car, no mods
Full service history ( mostley Indi. Brian Millar who knows the car and will vouch for it)
Guards Red, excellent condition
Cream cloth interior
Teledials
125k
Belts, rollers done start of this year.
Clutch new 15k ago

Challange is how much to ask for it?, I recon £2000 - £2500 but wondered if anyone had any other experience of selling the 944 lux.....is this way off the mark ?

That's a fair price if it's in really nice condition (and it probably is if Brian's been looking after the oily bits). I sold a good '87 model for £2,400 last year.

The market for them is pretty poor at the moment though, it may take a while to sell.
