944 needed for magazine photo shoot

I have been contacted by a freelance writer who's doing an article on the 944 for Practical Performance Car.

He's looking for a very good condition 944 of any model - any colour to be photographed next Tuesday (7th September) in Derby (or may have been Derbyshire - anyway somewhere around there).

If you have a suitable car and can make it on that day (am or pm) give the chap a call or drop him a line ASAP by e-mail....

I would have gone up myself but am committed on Tuesday []

Antics around the Brands campfire have caught up with you then ?

Remember to go quietly. You know it's for your own good.

That counts BKE out then. Not that I would necessarily want some numpty thrashing BKE across the Yorkshire mores any way.

Thinking about the request further, the models are so different, he is going to come to completely different conclusions if he has an early Lux or a late Turbo.

What a strange request.[8|]

'tis odd. I've never even heard of Practical Performance Car either. A new publication, perhaps?

I rang the guy yesterday to offer my 944 but he is sorted and has a couple in reserve which is fine as Derby is quite a drive
