I have a Porsche 944 and the tyres are completely ruined. would anyone please tell me where I can buy tyres and get them fitted due to I am looking for a new place to buy my tyres from, I work various hours so if I have to get them fitted it would have to be at a convenient time for me. if anyone could recommend any sites they buy tyres from that would be great.

Falken and Kuhmo tyres are always popular on 944's; they aren't expensive and work very well. There are more expensive options but these seen particularly good value.

Oli.

Hello,

we have quite a few cars and go through a lot at work as well. As a result I always order them online and have our local indy / specialist fit them.

The best to try are:

www.camskill.co.uk

www.oponeo.co.uk

www.lovetyres.com

also this thread is worth a read and mentions those above and more

our bmw / merc specialist charges £8-£12 a wheel for valve, balance & fitting to give you an idea.

just to add everyone ha favourite tyres I generally use Continental, but have found Hankook ones to be very good with good wear, ride & fuel consumption. I got Falkens fitted to the A5 at work and I am bitterly dissapointed you get what you pay for I suppose.

Fair enough. We do get a lot of spam attempts when people join the forum and then suddenly seem to promote a business.

People make their own minds up, so it's often actually bad for the business if that's the impression that comes across. That's the only reason I mentioned it. [:)]

oh fair enough lol na not promoting it just telling everyone about my personal experience from tyres247 lol im not promoting them lol would be good if I got paid to do that lol but I thought this site was to inform others on knowledge and personal experiences lmao
